This initiative focuses on recruiting and mentoring new teachers and para-professionals as they negotiate their first few years in the profession. In addition to developing competence and confidence in engaging the special education processes and meeting requirements, the initiative also supports teachers via on-going staff development in critical areas such as parent support and low-incidence disabilities.
