Teachers-Teachers.com provides Alabama school districts with access to the nation's largest and most diverse database of teaching candidates. Through extensive and unique in-state and out-of-state marketing campaigns, the number of certified teachers in the Teachers-Teachers.com database with interest in Alabama education positions continues to grow.

Since June 30, 2005, forty-four Alabama school districts were receiving Teachers-Teachers.com recruitment services. Nearly 600 vacancies were posted by Alabama school districts this past quarter. Those postings were viewed by more than 5,800 candidates, more than 2,200 of whom submitted a resume in response.

Through continued marketing efforts, the database of qualified education candidates interested in Alabama positions continues to grow. Over the past quarter, the number of certified candidates interested in Alabama education positions grew to 11, 985. The number of certified candidates interested in Alabama special education positions grew to 2,188. Marketing materials specific to the Teachers-Teachers.com initiative in Alabama were distributed by IHE contacts throughout the state.

In addition to aggressively recruitment candidates and reaching out to member districts, the Alabama Recruitment Director implemented various strategies to encourage even greater usage of the site this past quarter. The Recruitment Director reached out to Special Education Coordinators and invited them to begin the site. A letter was also sent from ALSDE encouraging districts to make use of their membership. Finally, the Alabama Recruitment Director also worked with personnel within ALSDE to coordinate the ongoing posting of district openings.

Teachers-Teachers.com is very proud of the success it achieved during the past quarter. Teachers-Teachers.com is optimistic that the database and district activity will continue to grow and about the opportunities quarter four presents.
